If you're anything like us, guns are similar to children. We can't have a favorite, as we love them all equally! Because of that, we will take care of all of your guns as if they were ours.
The primary choice for many gun owners for home defense and protection. They are smaller and therefore concealed easier in a home.
Keep it simple. Pull the trigger and the gun goes BOOM! The bullets revolve around in a circular pattern. There are very few moving parts and they typically fail less often than other types of handguns. They are limited with the number of bullets they can fire given that most only carry 5-6 before you must reload. The most common ones are .38, .357, and 44 caliber.
The most common type of handgun purchased. They can carry many more bullets than a revolver. The bullets are held in a magazine which fits inside the handle of the gun. The bullets can be stacked in either a single stack or a double stack configuration. Semi-Automatic pistols come in all shapes, sizes, and weights. We recommend holding a few different makes & models as we all have different grip preferences for what feels good in our hands..."that's what she said."
Here comes the boom! Rather than shooting 1 bullet (or projectile) most shotguns shoot shells which hold many smaller bb's. Once fired these small bb's spread out which gives a better chance of hitting the target. The downside is these smaller bb's loose power very quickly and are less effective at greater distances. Up close however, shotguns are very effective. There are 3 main types of shotguns and they come in different sizes typically referred to as "gauges."
In order to reload a pump action shotgun, the shooter must physically pump the shotgun in order to reload a new shell into the chamber. This gives a very distinct sound that lets everyone within ear shot know that you mean business! While you can very quickly reload by pumping the shotgun it is not as fast as a semi-automatic shotgun.
Let's GET SOME! Talk about laying down some crazy firepower, very quickly. Your shoulder might be sore, but it's well worth it in our opinion. Typically these can't hold more than 6-8 shells at a time so enjoy it while it lasts.
These are SOOO Cool! They are commonly referred as a break away shotgun, because they fold "break" in half and you load the shotgun shells directly into the chamber. These never fail, but you only get to shoot 1-2 shells before you must reload.
When distance matters.
These are ideal for hunting and competition shooting. All of the power generated by firing the bullet is used to move the projectile forward with maximum velocity. There are no moving parts immediately after the primer has been ignited which keeps the bullet flying faster and more accurate. The downfall is that you manually have to reload the next bullet, in case you miss...we recommend NOT missing.
Similar to semi-automatic handguns, these rifles do the reloading of a new bullet into the chamber (barrel) after the previous bullet has been shot and the used brass casing has been ejected. This allows for more bullets to be shot in a quicker amount of time. There is a slight trade off for accuracy and energy as some of the expanding gases are used to cycle a the next round. Because there are more moving parts, they tend to acquire more gun powder can lead to an increase in the gun jamming.
Let's throw some lead! If you have a fully automatic rifle, you are not messing around. We recognize that in order to get this legally you know your way around a firearm and most likely have everything you need to take maintain it....but again do you really? Let us do the dirty work after you've had some fun in the desert or wherever you like to shoot.
